Focusing on science-based solutions to meet different skin needs
Our science-based portfolio of brands and services is developed with diverse skin stories in mind, by people who harbor a deep passion for dermatology and an insatiable curiosity. “’Advancing dermatology for every skin story’ means recognizing that our patients and customers are not a homogeneous group – they each have unique needs,” explains Ram Subramanian, our Global Head of Market Access, Pricing and Channel for Therapeutic Dermatology. “It’s also about recognizing that it’s important to advance science and push the boundaries of what is possible.”
Sebastiaan Mul, a senior bioprocess design engineer at our site in Uppsala, Sweden, enjoys the dynamic, engaged and passionate atmosphere that reigns among his colleagues. “[It] means bringing new, great quality products to the market and trying to find solutions to help improve skin healthcare worldwide. It’s satisfying to know that you’re contributing to this,” he says.
Fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration
Our 40+ years of unrivalled expertise and commitment to dermatology is a truly distinguishing factor in the market, and our purpose drives our continued investments in scientific research and development. Wagner Inácio Da Silva, a supply chain officer at Galderma Brazil, knows a thing or two about our long-standing commitment to innovation, having been with the company for 16 years. “I identify a lot with the idea of innovation, this search for new processes and results,” he shares. “That really motivates me.” For Wagner, Galderma’s innovative spirit is tightly linked to collaboration. “Working as a team, being supportive and creating synergies is essential.”
Making an impact on people’s lives
“To me, it’s about more personalized treatments and products for everyone’s skin story,” says Courtney Flynn, a senior brand manager for Galderma U.S. What really clicks for Courtney is the opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives, whether they suffer from minor skin issues or debilitating conditions. At Galderma, we strive to address specific and often overlooked concerns while respecting the distinct characteristics of every skin type.
This goal results in an exceptionally broad range of products and services. “What I love about Galderma's purpose is that it's all-encompassing,” says Dolly Appiah, a commercial IT business relationship manager working in our Dallas, Texas (U.S.) office.
“We’re focused on making sure we have solutions for face and body, over the counter, prescription, and aesthetics.” Ensuring we have the broadest range possible is integral to our purpose, as Juan Vergez, a digital coordinator at our head office in Zug, Switzerland, notes: “Everybody has a different skin, and everybody has a different story.”
