Prescription

Increasingly, patients with skin conditions are visiting healthcare professionals, and dermatologists in particular, looking for relief from skin conditions that have physical, psychological or social consequences in their daily life. Our Prescription business aims to provide the solutions these patients need. It was the first established of the three business units that make up Nestlé Skin Health.

We combine our expertise with that of other companies and institutions throughout the world, collaborating in developing new solutions in disease areas with unmet medical needs, such as atopic dermatitis, dermato-oncology and psoriasis.

Changing lifestyles, and increasing concerns about the effects of pollution, stress, UV damage, allergies and ageing skin, are all influencing the amount of attention today's consumers pay to their skin. Our aim is to provide them with what they need to maintain healthy skin throughout their lives. All our solutions are available over the counter and many of them are recommended by dermatologists. Some of our brands have been around a long time. Others have changed from prescription products to over-the-counter options. And, of course, we're working on inventing new ones.
